Charles Behan Thorn (May 6, 1872 in New Orleans, Louisiana – April 23, 1955)[1] was the president of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1892-1893 season. He was also a member during the Glee Club 1891-1892 season.[2]
After completing his education at the University of Virginia, Thorn became established in banking and civic life in New Orleans, working for the brokerage firm of Fairchild & Hobson and establishing the cotton brokerage of Thorn & McGinnis. He subsequently was vice president of the New Orleans Cotton Exchange and then vice president of the Interstate Trust & Banking Company. Active in the Boy Scouts, he established the New Orleans Council of Boy Scouts.[3]
