
Charles Francis Lloyd, 1942 Corks and Curls
Charles Francis Lloyd, Jr. (July 16, 1920 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – February 28, 2012)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1938-1939, 1939-1940, and 1940-1941 seasons. He was a first year during the 1938-1939 season.[2] Completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia in 1942, he was also a member of Phi Gamma Delta, the Censored Society, Lambda Pi, and Pi Delta Epsilon, and was the business manager of Corks and Curls in 1942.[3] He lived in 38 East Lawn[4] in 1941–1942.
Lloyd served in the US Naval Reserve during World War II and the Korean War. He was Vice President of Lockhart Iron & Steel until his retirement in 1982.
