Charles Leroy Anger (May 13, 1912 – February 21, 1985)[1] sang in the Glee Club Quartet during the Glee Club 1931-1932 season. He was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1931-1932 and 1933-1934 seasons.
After completing a bachelors, masters, and doctorate in history at the University of Virginia, Anger taught at UVa and at Catawba College, SC, before joining the faculty of The Citadel. He taught history there from 1941 to 1977, when he retired, and served as chair of the department from 1955.
