
Charles Robert Phillips, 1948 Corks and Curls
Charles Robert (Bob) Phillips (died March 8, 2013), of Larchmont, New York, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1940-1941 season. He graduated in 1948.[1]
His obituary in the UVA Magazine says:
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. At the University, he sang with the Glee Club. Mr. Phillips retired after a 40-year career with the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railroad. He enjoyed trains, model and full size, as well as collecting stamps and coins. Survivors include his wife and two sons.[2]
