Charles White Conklin, Jr. (1931 in Smithfield, Virginia[1] – May 15, 2014)[2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1950-1951 season.
Conklin served in the United States Army. He spent his career in the petroleum industry as an engineer, working for Gulf Oil Company and later for Sun Oil Company. He was also a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Chemical Consultants Network, the American Petroleum Institute, the Garden Club of Springfield, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and the American Iris Society. He also served as president of the UVa Club of Philadelphia.[2]
