The 1943 Virginia Glee Club Concert at Sweet Briar was held May 8, 1943 at Sweet Briar College. The concert, conducted by Stephen Tuttle with accompaniment by Randall Thompson, featured a performance of the newly composed The Testament of Freedom, and was part of the Glee Club 1942-1943 season. The concert was a joint performance with the Sweet Briar Glee Club, conducted by Agnes McLean.[1]
