The 1992 Concert on the Lawn of the Virginia Glee Club was the penultimate concert of the Glee Club 1991-1992 season. Conducted by John Liepold, the concert, like all Concerts on the Lawn, was free and open to the public and held on the steps of the Rotunda.

Liepold's contribution to the Concert on the Lawn concept was the introduction of a large group performance of an a cappella style popular song arrangement;in this, his first Lawn concert, the work was Lynyrd Skynyrd's Southern rock anthem "Freebird," arranged by graduating Virginia Gentlemen and Club member David Fouché. "Foosh"'s arrangement included some unique Glee Club features, including an opening Gregorian chant of the first line of the song ("If I leave here tomorrow, will you still remember me?") translated into Latin and performed by a semichorus in the manner of the Franz Biebl Ave Maria.
