Dan McCarty Moore, of Arlington, Virginia, was president of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1956-1957 season, and was also a member in 1955-1956. Graduating in 1957, he was also president of the Westminster Fellowship, vice president of the Tuesday Evening Concert Series, and the University Religious Council.[1]
In 1962, Moore was a student at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, studying mission and Bible training.[2] He and his wife became Presbyterian missionaries to Japan.[3]
