Daniel H. Payne (May 12, 1919 in Norfolk, Virginia – December 5, 1994)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1937-1938, 1938-1939, and 1939-1940 seasons. He was a second year during the 1937-1938 season, and was also a member of the Glee Club Quartet during the 1938-1939 season.[2] He sang in the Tin Can Quartet in 1939-40.[3]

Payne served in the United States Navy during World War II, from January 29, 1942 to February 24, 1946.[4]
