Douglass William List was president of the Virginia Glee Club during the 1976-1977 season. He also served as business manager in 1974-1975. He lived in 5 West Lawn[1] in 1976–1977.
List became the first chairman of the board of the Virginia Glee Club Alumni and Friends Association in 2006.
