Edward Earle Zehmer (October 10, 1931 in McKenney, Virginia – May 18, 1996)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1949-1950 and 1950-1951 seasons. He lived in
50 East Range[2] in 1950–1951. Graduating in 1952, he was also a member of Delta Upsilon, the Trident Society, Naval ROTC, and Alpha Kappa Psi.[3]
Zehmer completed his Law Degree at the University of Virginia and had served in the United States Marine Corps, retiring as a major. He practiced law for 23 years and was appointed to the First District Court of Appeal in the state of Florida in 1983, where he served as chief justice until his death in 1996.[4]
