
Cheek, 1942 Corks and Curls
Edward N. Cheek (January 27, 1921 in Richmond, Virginia – January 4, 1996)[1] served as librarian of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1940-1941 season. He also sang in the Tin Can Quartet during the 1939-1940, 1940-1941 and 1941-1942 seasons. Graduating in 1942, he was also editor-in-chief of Corks and Curls, associate editor of College Topics, president of the Censored Society, chairman of the Judicial Committee, and a member of Phi Kappa Sigma, Lambda Pi, Pi Delta Epsilon, the Student Senate, the Student Assembly, the track team, and the German Club.[2][3] He lived in 22 East Lawn[4] in 1941–1942.
