
Edwin Berry Roller, 1942 Corks and Curls
Edwin Beery Roller (February 6, 1915 in Staunton, Virginia – December 29, 1999)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1938-1939 and 1939-1940 seasons. A first year during the 1938-1939 season,[3] he received his undergraduate degree in 1942.[4] He lived in 42 East Range[5] in 1941–1942.
Roller enlisted in the United States Quartermaster Corps and served during World War II, and was discharged from the Corps of Engineers in 1946 as a first lieutenant. He worked in private industry and later joined the Virginia Department of Transportation as a bridge inspector and road designer.[2] His son, Edwin B. Roller Jr., was in the Glee Club during the 1963-1964 season.
