Edwin G. Michaelian
Edwin Gilbert Michelian or Michaelian (April 30, 1906 in New York, New York – September 9, 1983),[1][2][3][4] of White Plains, New York, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1924-1925 and 1925-1926 seasons. A first year during the 1924-1925 season,[5] he was also a member of Sigma Nu, the University Band, and the first year football squad, and was an adjunct manager of the baseball team in 1925.[6]
Michelian completed his undergraduate work at Yale University. In 1939, Michelian was employed as a salesman in White Plains.[7] He served as a naval officer from August 9, 1943 to December 30, 1945.[2] He was mayor of White Plains from 1950 to 1957, and then was county executive for Westchester County from 1958 to 1973.[8]
