Edwin Robson Nelson (May 15, 1908 in Huntington, West Virginia – December 15, 1944)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1930-1931 season. A fourth year during the season, he was also a member of Beta Theta Pi, Lambda Pi, the German Club, and had been on the first year baseball team in 1927 and assistant manager of the basketball team in 1929.[3]
Nelson served in the US Naval Reserve Medical Corps during World War II, rising to the rank of lieutenant. He died a prisoner of the Japanese aboard a ship in the Philippines.[4]
