Ernest Edward Northen, Jr. (September 25, 1908 in Bealeton, Virginia – June 20, 1995)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1930-1931 season. He was a second year during the season.[2]
After graduating he served in the United States Army, making lieutenant colonel in September 1933.[3] He completed a divinity degree at Crozier Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania in 1936, became an Army chaplain in the reserves, then entered active duty in November 1941. He retired from the army in 1961, earning the Bronze Star.[1]
