
Dixon, 1947 Corks and Curls
Ernest Malcolm Dixon, Sr. (January 11, 1924 in Alamance, North Carolina – July 4, 2004)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1942-1943 and 1943-1944 seasons. He was a first year student in 1942-43.[3] Completing his medical degree in 1947 at UVa, he was also a member of Phi Chi, the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, and the Corks and Curls staff.[4]
Dixon received a doctorate in science from the University of Cincinnati. He practiced occupational medicine, with particular expertise in asbestos and other environmental standards.[1]
