The 1987 European Tour of the Virginia Glee Club and the University Singers saw the Glee Club and Singers performing in Bruges, Amsterdam, Cologne, Heidelberg, and Lucerne. Postponed from the planned European Tour (1986), the tour was led starting May 18, 1987 by Donald Loach and international tour manager Ellis Butler as part of the Glee Club 1986-1987 season.

Repertoire for the tour included selections from Glee Club and University Singers favorites, including works by Johannes Brahms and Franz Schubert, "folksongs and spirituals from the American South," and the following named pieces[1]:
