Virgil Floyd Williams (December 24, 1916 in Fort Lyon, Colorado – October 28, 1995)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1935-1936 and 1936-1937 seasons. Completing his undergraduate degree in 1938 and his law degree in 1941, he was also a member of the University Band, Sigma Nu, Delta Theta Phi, the Virginia Band, the Dagger Society, and the Interfraternity Council.[3][4] He lived in 24 East Range[5] in 1938–1939 and in 21 West Range[5] from 1939 to 1941.
Williams served in the United States Navy during World War II, rising to the rank of lieutenant commander.[2]
