The 1941 University of Virginia Festival Music was held April 8, 1941 in Old Cabell Hall. Featuring appearances by the Virginia Glee Club under the direction of Harry Rogers Pratt as part of the Glee Club 1940-1941 season; the Madison College Glee Club; the Hollins Glee Club; and the Washington and Lee Glee Club (under the direction of former Virginia Glee Club member John Grier Varner). The concerts were held in honor of the retirement of Arthur Fickenscher as the chair of the McIntire Department of Music.
