The 2019 Virginia Glee Club Tour of the Northwest, which lasted from March 10 – March 17, 2019, was conducted by Frank Albinder as part of the Glee Club 2018-2019 season. The tour included performances in Salem, Oregon, Seattle, West Seattle, Bellevue, and Vancouver, Washington.
The tour included performances of Symphony No. 9 (Beethoven) with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Anthony Spain, with Alexandra Picard, soprano soloist, Nerys Jones, mezzo soprano Soloist, Tim Janecke, tenor soloist, Charles Robert Stephens, bass soloist, and ChoralSounds Northwest, Concord Chamber Choir, Con Brio Women’s Choir and Cantabile Youth Vocal Ensemble.[1] The March 15 performance featured a guest appearance by voice actress Ellen McLain, who voiced the character GlaDOS in the video game Portal.
