Hob H. Bryan (born December 5, 1952)[1] is a friend of the Virginia Glee Club who currently serves as a board member of the Virginia Glee Club Alumni and Friends Association.
Bryan received his BA from Mississippi State University, and his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1977, where he lived in 11 West Range[2]. Bryan has served in the Mississippi State Senate since 1984 and is currently the second-longest serving senator in Mississippi. As such, he effectively acts as minority leader, though he jokes that there is no such position because Senate Democrats are "too disorganized."[3] He currently serves as chair of the Judiciary Committee, Division B, and vice chair of the Public Health and Welfare Committee.[4]
