Thomas Porter Simpson (September 5, 1907 in Knoxville, Tennessee – February 16, 1963)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1931-1932 season. Graduating in 1934, he was also a member of the Glee Club Quartet and the University Orchestra.[3]
Simpson was ordained in 1936 and worked with City Mission in New York before becoming pastor at churches in Old Hickory, Memphis, Chattanooga and Newark, New Jersey.[2] In 1942, Simpson was a vicar at the Thankful Memorial Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee.[1]
