
Marshall, 1981 Corks and Curls
Forrest Rea Marshall III (September 23, 1959 – August 12, 2023),[1][2] of Charlottesville, Virginia, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1977-1978, 1978-1979, 1979-1980, 1980-1981, 1981-1982, 1983-1984, and 1984-1985 seasons. While in the Glee Club, he sang both Tenor II and countertenor. Completing his undergraduate degree in 1981, he was also a member of the Virginia Gentlemen and the University Republican Club.[3]
After two years working in Washington, DC as an aide to Senator John Warner, Marshall returned to the University to earn his masters degree in foreign language education. Again he sang both with the Glee Cub and the Virginia Gentlemen.
Following a 30 year teaching career in Rochester, New York, he relocated to Richmond, Virginia, where he worked as an interpreter in Henrico County schools and tutored in English, Spanish, piano, and voice.[2]
