Frederick Starr Wood (November 21, 1921 in Reading, Connecticut – January 20, 1990)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1941-1942 and 1942-1943 seasons. Graduating from the University of Virginia in 1944 with a bachelors in chemical engineering, he was also a member of Theta Chi, Alpha Chi Sigma, Trigon (Gamma Delta Epsilon), and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.[2] He lived in 32 East Lawn[3] in 1942–1943.
Graduating in 1944, he joined Standard Oil where he worked in their research department.[4]
