George Lett Jones, Jr. (April 23, 1928 in South Hill, Virginia – January 10, 1978)[1] was president of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1946-1947 season. He was also a member and/or accompanist in the 1945-1946, 1947-1948, 1949-1950, 1950-1951, and 1951-1952 seasons. Completing his undergraduate degree in 1948, he was also a member of Alpha Chi Sigma, the American Guild of Organists, and the Y.M.C.A.[2] He lived in 2 East Range[3] from 1945 to 1949, and in 70 East Range[3] in 1950–1951.
