
1916 Virginia Glee Club
The 1915-1916 season of the Virginia Glee Club was the second season with A.L. Hall-Quest as director. The officers were Malcolm W. Gannaway, president; DeLos Thomas, Jr., secretary and treasurer; and F. S. Loar, manager. The accompanist was D.P. Powers.[1]
The Club's opening concert included a combination of classical repertoire, traditional Glee Club repertoire including "King Witlaf's Drinking Horn," and so-called "negro specialities."[2]
