Henry Fletcher Neighbors, Jr. (May 29, 1925 – December 9, 2009)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1942-1943 and 1943-1944 seasons. At the University, he was co-captain of the first UVa baseball team to win a championship and was recruited by the Brooklyn Dodgers as a pitcher. His career ended during his first season with a shoulder injury.
He worked in the advertising media department of Proctor and Gamble. After retirement he moved to Charlottesville and played violin with the Charlottesville and University Symphony Orchestra and the Lynchburg Symphony, and tuba in the Charlottesville Municipal Band.[2]
