Herbert A. Donovan, Jr. (born July 14, 1931) was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1949-1950 season.
After graduating from the University of Virginia, Donovan received a Master of Divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Divinity from Yale University, the University of the South in Sewanee, and Virginia Theological Seminary. He became a bishop in the Episcopal Church and served as bishop of the Diocese of Arkansas and as an assisting bishop of the Diocese of New York.[1] He is a recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award.[2]
