John Pike Powers, Jr., (October 24, 1875 in Knoxville, Tennessee – October 30, 1950)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1895-1896 season. A first year law student during the season, he was also a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi at the University of Virginia.[3]
After attending the University, Powers practiced law in Knoxville as a senior partner in Powers & Thornburg, and also served as city attorney.[4]
