McClelland, 1940 Corks and Curls
James Bruce McClelland III (May 21, 1918 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – September 18, 2004)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1938-1939 season. Graduating in 1940, he was also a member of Delta Phi, [[[Skull and Keys]], the P.K. Society, and the V Club, and was manager of the boxing team and assistant editor of Corks and Curls.[3][4]
McClelland received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma Law School, and served as legal counsel for a defense contractor. He was the first president of the Legal Aid Society of Oklahoma and was President of the Oklahoma County Bar Association and Vice President of the Oklahoma State Bar Association.[2]
