James Lindell Ellis (December 25, 1907 in Metuchen, New Jersey, died November 11, 1930)[1][2] was president of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1929-1930 season, and was also a member during the 1928-1929 season. A second year during the season, he was also a member of Delta Psi and Skull and Keys and had been on the freshman baseball team.[3] In his third year, he was the leading pitcher on the varsity baseball team and was captain-elect of the baseball team for 1930-1931.
Ellis died in November 1930 of complications from injuries received in an automobile accident in August of that year.
