James Tappan Hornor (December 17, 1885 – June 17, 1957),[1] of Helena, Arkansas, was president of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1905-1906 season, and was also a member in 1904-1905. While at the University of Virginia, he was also a member of Delta Psi, P.K. Society, the Raven Society, the Hot Feet, the Arcadians, the German Club, and was manager of the track team.[2] He lived in 27 West Lawn from 1900–1902 and 1903–1904.[3]
After graduation he had a position in a bank in Helena,[4] and later owned and ran the Tap Hornor Service Station in Helena.[5]
