Jeffrey Sandborg was the director of choral activities at Roanoke College, where he held the post since 1985. He conducted two choruses, the Roanoke College Oriana Singers and the Roanoke College A Cappella Choir. During that time he has also conducted the Roanoke Valley Choral Society (now the Roanoke Symphony Chorus).[1]

Sandborg has collaborated with the Virginia Glee Club several times since 1994, including:
- Concert with the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra (1994)
- Tour of the Northeast (2010) in Roanoke with the Oriana Singers
- Concert at Roanoke (2011) with the Oriana Singers
- 140th Anniversary Concert with the Oriana Singers
- Four Free (2017) with the Oriana Singers
