John (Jack) Beason Davis (December 12, 1924 – July 7, 2015)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1942-1943 and 1943-1944 seasons. During 1942-1943, he was a resident of 5 West Lawn[3], and he lived in 5 West Range[3] in 1943–1944.
He graduated from the UVA PreMed program in 1944 and served in the Navy at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. In September 1944 he entered Harvard Medical School, graduating in 1948. Re-entering the Navy during the Korean War, he served on destroyers in the U.S. 6th Fleet from January 1951 to 1952. He then returned to North Carolina, establishing a general medical practice. He later completed a psychiatric residency and entered psychiatric practice in Burlington.[2]
