
John Brewer Petter, 1939 Corks and Curls
John Brewer Petter (March 17, 1917 in Amatol, New Jersey – October 3, 2011),[1] of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1937-1938 and 1938-1939 seasons. Transferring from the University of Texas during the 1937-1938 season, he was also a member of Phi Gamma Delta.[2][3] He lived in 76 East Range[4] from 1939 to 1942.
Following an internship in Cleveland, Petter was in the Army Medical Corps in World War II, serving at the 101st General Hospital in Taunton, England. Following the war, he practiced medicine in Worcester, Massachusetts.
