John Frothingham (February 12, 1939 – January 26, 2018),[1][2] of Exeter, New Hampshire, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1956-1957 season. Graduating with an engineering degree in 1961, he was also a member of Trigon and the University Band. He was a resident of 25 West Lawn[3] in 1959-1960.
Frothingham served in the United States Navy for 23 years, where he commanded the USS James Monroe among other assignments.[1]
