John Moncure Daniel, Jr. (March 2, 1928 in Alexandria, Virginia – April 1, 2006)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1945-1946 season. Completing his engineering degree in 1949, he was also a member of Sigma Chi, Trigon, Tau Beta Pi, and the Virginia Engineering Review.[3][4]
Daniel received his masters in industrial management from Georgia Tech in 1952, and served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1954. After working for the Virginia Carolina Chemical Company and the Mobil Chemical Company, he worked for the Virginia Agency for Air Pollution Control (now the Department of Environmental Quality) for 36 years, retiring in 2006.[5]
