Gibson, 1959 Corks and Curls
John V.M. Gibson, of Richmond, Virginia, (died March 24, 2018)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1955-1956 season. Graduating in 1959, he was also a member of Chi Phi, Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, the Y.M.C.A., the Virginia Spectator, freshman track, the secretary of the Spanish Club, and the Canterbury Club.[2]
He received a masters in regional planning from Cornell University, then joined the Peace Corps. He later taught city planning at the University of Memphis and at Florida State University.
