Joseph Blount Tucker (April 5, 1919 in Shanghai, China – April 10, 1999 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas)[1] was president of the Virginia Glee Club during the 1941-1942 season,[2] having been a member in 1938-1939, 1939-1940, and 1940-1941. He also was a member of the Tin Can Quartet from 1940 to 1942.[3][4] A 1942 graduate, he was also a member of Alpha Tau Omega, Lambda Pi, Pi Delta Epsilon, Omicron Delta Kappa, Raven Society (secretary), Brotherhood of Saint Andrew, Senior Cabinet, and College Topics.[5]
Tucker was a son of Episcopalian missionaries and was born on mission in Shanghai.[6] He entered into the ministry as well.
