The 1980 Kickoff Concert of the Virginia Glee Club was held on November 7, 1980 in Old Cabell Hall. Conducted by Donald Loach, the concert featured the Rutgers Glee Club under the direction of F. Austin Walter and was the opening concert of the Glee Club 1980-1981 season.
UVA lost the home game against Rutgers the following day, 17-19.[1]
