The 1995 Kickoff Concert of the Virginia Glee Club was conducted by John Liepold as the opening performance of the Glee Club 1995-1996 season. Held October 21, 1995 in Old Cabell Hall, the concert was the first collaboration between the Glee Club and the newly reformed Virginia Women's Chorus; the first Virginia Women's Chorus performance conducted by Donna Plaskett; and the Glee Club's first performance in Old Cabell Hall since 1993 following the conclusion of the hall's restoration.
