The 1997 Kickoff Concert of the Virginia Glee Club was conducted by Bruce Tammen as the opening concert of the Glee Club 1997-1998 season. The concert, held October 18, 1997 in Old Cabell Hall, featured a joint appearance with the Virginia Women's Chorus, Donna Plaskett conducting.
