Louis Machen Hammond, (July 23, 1906 in Culpeper, Virginia – January 1982)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1926-1927 season. A second year during the season, he was also a member of Phi Kappa Sigma, Lambda Pi, the German Club, the varsity track team, and the University Band, and had been on the first year football team and first year track team.[2] He lived in 30 East Lawn[3] in 1929–1930 and in 13 West Lawn[3] in 1931–1932.
