Leon H. Sample, Jr. (March 22, 1940 – July 2, 2017),[1][2] of Alexandria, Virginia, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1959-1960 season. Graduating in 1964 with a commerce degree, he was also a member of Phi Kappa Upsilon, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Cavalier Daily staff, Delta Sigma Pi, the Young Republicans, and the Virginia Gentlemen.[3]
Sample served in the United States Army and then worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield and his own firm, Bottleneck Wine Cards.[2]
