Martin J. Lowenkopf (March 16, 1928 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey – May 21, 2021) was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1945-1946 and 1946-1947 seasons. Graduating in 1949, he was also a member of Phi Epsilon Pi, WUVA, the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, and the staffs of Corks and Curls and the Virginia Spectator.
Lowenkopf worked at the United States Department of State from 1961 to 1966, and in 1975-1989, when he retired as Deputy Director in Intelligence and Research for African Affairs.
