Merrill Maury Pye (August 14, 1902 in Bismarck, North Dakota – November 17, 1975),[1][2] of Los Angeles, California, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1921-1922 season. He was a first year engineering student during the season.[3]
Pye was a motion picture and television art director who received his earliest credit in 1925. He was nominated for an Oscar on his work for North by Northwest,[4] and is noted for his work on the original Twilight Zone and Man from U.N.C.L.E. television series.[2]
