Nevil Gratiot Henshaw (born in St. Louis, Missouri April 23,1880[1]; died in Charlottesville November 24, 1936)[2] was the conductor of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1920-1921 season, and sang in the Glee Club quartet during the Glee Club 1899-1900 season. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1902. While at the University he studied law and was an associate editor of Corks and Curls. He lived in 80 East Range[3] in 1900–1901 and 72 East Range from 1901 to 1902.

Henshaw was a writer, whose first novel, Aline of the Grand Woods, was published in 1909,[4] He also wrote the musical The Visiting Girl which the Glee Club performed in 1920-1921.
