Oscar Swineford, Jr. (1897 in Richmond, Virginia – 1976)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the 1910s or 1920s. He was a law student at the University of Virginia and also was a member of Phi Kappa Psi, Phi Rho Sigma, Skull and Keys, T.I.L.K.A., the Z Society, P.K., the German Club, the baseball team, the Y.M.C.A. cabinet, and was head cheer leader in 1923.[2]
Swineford became a professor at the Medical School, with a special focus on allergies. He remained active as an alumnus, performing in the Alumni Quartet during the Annual Concert (1935).
