Brooke, 1950 Corks and Curls
Richard Brooke Jr. (February 15, 1926 in Weston, West Virginia – March 4, 2001),[1] of Richmond, Virginia, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1946-1947 season. Graduating in 1950, he was also a member of Alpha Tau Omega, the first year social committee, the College Topics staff, and the Y.M.C.A.[2]
Prior to attending the University he spent two years in the US Navy Hospital Corps. From 1955 to 1960 he served as the administrator of Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He subsequently worked for Independent Life Insurance Company, retiring in 1996.
